Solgar Coenzyme Q10 plays a vital role in cellular health and energy production. Solgar Ubiquinol is the reduced, antioxidant form of Coenzyme Q10 (Ubiquinone) and one of the most powerful lipid soluble antioxidants available. This premium formulation is offered in oil-based softgels to ensure optimal absorption and assimilation.
Ubiquinone requires conversion to Ubiquinol so by supplementing with Ubiquinol, you are providing your body with a form of Coenzyme Q-10 that is in a ready-to-use state.
As a food supplement for adults, take one (1) to two (2) softgels daily, preferably at mealtime, or as directed by a healthcare practitioner. Do not exceed directions for use.
For Best Before End and Batch No. information see neck of bottle. To assure freshness and potency, store at room temperature 15°-30°C (59°-86°F). Store away from heat, light and moisture.
If you are pregnant, nursing, taking any medications or have any medical condition, please consult your healthcare practitioner before taking this product.
SOLGAR UBIQUINOL 100 mg provides the reduced form of Coenzyme Q-10 (KanekaQH®). Ubiquinol has all the same benefits that have been established with Ubiquinone Coenzyme Q-10, performing a supporting role in cardiovascular health and energy production. Ubiquinol is also an important lipid-soluble antioxidant produced in the body. It helps to protect the mitochondria and its lipid membranes from the onslaught of free radicals which are by-products of energy production.
Ubiquinone requires conversion to Ubiquinol and under optimal conditions this conversion takes place back and forth many times a second, as it carries out its role in energy production. At least 80% of the Coenzyme Q-10 in the blood is in the form of Ubiquinol. However, Coenzyme Q-10 levels in the body generally begin to decrease from the age of 20 and the conversion of Ubiquinone into Ubiquinol becomes less efficient.
Genetics also plays an important role and some people cannot optimally convert Ubiquinone to Ubiquinol in their cell membranes because of a genetic variation in the NQ01 gene. This is known as a single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP). People with this genetic variation, those who are over the age of 40 or those who are suffering from an age-related health condition, may benefit from taking Ubiquinol. Ubiquinol (the reduced form of Coenzyme Q-10) provides advanced antioxidant support. By supplementing with Ubiquinol, you are providing your body with a form of Coenzyme Q-10 that is in a ready-to-use state.
