Shea Sorbet for Dry, Cracking Skin
Cracked Hoofs or Inflamed Hands? For very dry and cracked skin, Shea Butter is one of the most intense moisturising ingredients. However Shea Butter by itself is too hard to be applied to the skin.
Our Shea Sorbet has been made for people we know with hands or feet that are so dry the skin has begun cracking. We have called it Sorbet as we have fluffed it up to the consistency of Sorbet. Our Lime Essential Oil also makes it smell like fruit Sorbet.
The feedback has even better than we expected. If you find that a moisturising cream is never enough, we think you will love the Shea Sorbet.
Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter), Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil, Cera Alba (Beeswax), Cannibis Sativa (Hemp) Seed Oil, Piroctone Olamine (Olamine Salt), Allantoin (Comfrey Root) Extract, Tocopherol (Natural Vitamin E), Citrus Aurantifolia (Lime) Essential Oil.
MORE INGREDIENT INFORMATION:
Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter): Shea Butter is a natural complex fat extracted from the nuts of the Shea tree. The traditional use of the butter is to reduce the appearance of fine lines, scars and stretch marks, and to ease a variety of skin irritations. The soothing qualities of Shea butter are due to the presence of several fatty acids and plant sterols, namely oleic, stearic, palmitic and linolenic acids. Shea butter is very rich and moisturising butter.
Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil: Coconut oil is a natural oil extracted from the meat of the coconut fruit. Coconut oil has the distinction of being rich in a crystalline fatty acid called lauric acid, and the medium chain fatty acids give raw coconut oil its soothing properties. Coconut oil is naturally antibacterial and antifungal, and is an excellent nourishing moisturiser which can also penetrate hair better than other oils. Coconut oil on its own is a bit greasy and uncomfortable, in a cream it is perfect!
Cera Alba (Beeswax) Using beeswax is an edible way to help turn products from a cream into a balm and is also stable enough to ensure ingredients like Zinc Oxide stay dispersed.
Cannibis Sativa (Hemp) Seed Oil: Hemp Seed oil is derived from hemp seeds. Rich in antioxidants, minerals and essential fatty acids it is highly nourishing and protective to the skin.
Piroctone Olamine (Olamine Salt): Piroctone Olamine is an organic compound. It is a non-irritating anti-yeast ingredient which helps keep the cream free from bacteria and mould.
Allantoin: Allantoin is a skin conditioner. Allantoin is thought to help maintain healthy skin by encouraging the removal of dead skin cells and stimulate the growth of healthy skin tissue.
Tocopherol: (Natural Vitamin E): We use the more expensive, natural Vitamin E in our creams, not synthetic. Synthetic Vitamin E is clear and colourless. Natural Vitamin E is brown and has a scent and so discolours our creams a little. However it is much more bioavailable for the skin.
Citrus Aurantifolia (Lime): Essential Oil
