Chamomile Roman Essential Oil, Anthemis nobilis, Steam distilled. Colour: clear light blue. Known as 'Earth Apple'. Strong floral, Sweet fruity aroma. Excellent for skin care, especially sensitive & problem skin.
Uses
Chamomile Roman is widely used in Aromatherapy for its soothing properties and its ability to blend happily with other oils, and more generally in cosmetic and skin care preparations. Excellent for skin care, especially sensitive and problem skin. Soothing and relaxing, encourages sleep. Ideal for stiff joints and muscles. During the distillation process, the 'water' fraction of the distillate, containing many of the water soluble fractions of the essential oil Known as the Hydrolat or Floral Water, is collected. This Hydrolat has many of the 'virtues' of the herb and essential oil in a water soluble form, and finds many uses in water-based cosmetic products from skin toners and conditioners to soaps and shampoos. On its own, as a pure hydrolat it has a surprising warm honey-like aroma and can be used as a skin cleanser and toner in its own right
How To Use
Bath: Add a total of 5 or less drops of Chamomile Roman essential oil. Mix well. Soak for up to 20 minutes allowing the oil to penetrate the skin while enjoying the luxurious vapours.
Massage: Add a total of 5 drops or less of Chamomile Roman essential oil to every 10ml of massage body oil.
Vaporisation: Add 4 to 8 drops of Chamomile Roman essential oil to bowl of a burner. Fill with water.

Certain oils may cause irritation and/or sensitizing and should be used in greater dilutions - they are all marked (X). Oils marked (S) especially Tagetes & Bergamot, should not be used on skin before exposure to the sun, except in a shampoo or soap, as most is rinsed. Avoid contact with the eye area: should this happen, immediately wash eyes thoroughly with water and repeat. Seek medical attention if stinging persists after 10 minutes.
Some people may have allergic reactions to essential oils, just as some people are allergic to grass or pollen. If in doubt of the amount please get professional advice.
